Product Applications

Turbo Spray serves a variety of industries requiring spray guns and spray gun systems for liquid application. However our repeat customers generally fall within three broad ranges :

Aeronautical Paint Applications
Currently, An industry leading Aeronautical Systems company is using a wide variety of our products to apply coatings to their military aircraft. One of the guns that is used most frequently is our Dual-Head #5001 HVLP Automatic gun, to apply coatings to the main fuselage sections of their aircraft. They have also taken full advantage of our specialty products including: Lightweight automatic spray guns, gun extensions, and ergonomically friendly hand spray guns for touch-up areas. Our specialty guns are used to spray tight areas such as turbine and diverter areas of aircraft.

Automotive Paint Applications. (Paint, slipcoat, mold release, radar absorbing)
Over the past few months we have been working with one of the largest Tier 1 suppliers of wheel covers. They are currently using our Rotary #2001 HVLP spray guns to apply coatings to all areas of their wheel covers as well as our paint flow meters to monitor flow rates. They use the guns on their chain-on-edge lines to apply primer, base coat, clear coat, as well as on their rotary spray stations. Better spray penetration inside the vents and nut-pocket areas of the wheel cover has yielded some impressive numbers. It has resulted in increased transfer efficiency, more parts per gallon of coating, and fewer paint booth filter changes

Automotive Adhesive Spray Applications. (Rubber-to-metal)

Usually involves our spray guns, fluid controls, and complete systems to apply adhesive to metal parts. These parts are both inner and out diameter types and usually are from the automotive sector. The #300 gun, the #2001 gun and out extensions are the usual method for spray application. The turntables, chain-on-edge, or the tumblespray machines are used for the high volume production method of these types of parts.
